What to expect
This fascinating tour takes you through the ancient and modern parts of the city. On the way to the old center of Dubai, you will be able to take some pictures at the Palace of the Ruler of Dubai-Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. You will then continue to Dubai Creek which runs across old Dubai, before exploring Al Fahidi Fort in the Bastakiya area. Al Fahidi Fort was once the premises of the monarch, a fort of defense and an arsenal for artillery and weapons.
Continue for a ride on the local water taxi, known as 'Abra' on the Dubai Creek. You will enjoy the waterfront from the sea and then head to the peculiar Deira district. Here you will be amazed by the aromatic spice souq and the exquisite gold jewelry that you can find.
In the modern part of Dubai, you will pass by the Jumeirah Mosque Est: 1979 built in traditional Fatimid style and the Burj Al Arab. The latter is the fifth tallest hotel in the world and the most luxurious one, known for its distinctive silhouette resembling a billowing sail. After this, you'll enjoy some free time at the Madinat Jumeirah Souk, an authentic re-creation of an old marketplace that combines stands from the traditional Middle Eastern shopping culture with boutique brands.
Head to The Palm Jumeirah and enjoy a walk by the Dubai Marina with its skyscrapers, restaurants and luxurious yachts. You'll then continue on to the Dubai Mall, the biggest shopping mall in the world, to experience a stunning view of Dubai from the 124th floor of Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building ever with its 828 meters. You will also have time to shop inside and visit the Dubai Aquarium and watch the fountain show in the evening. At the end of the day, you'll be dropped back at your hotel.
