Boat cruise
Wow we just adored this experience we just had SO much fun! Our guide jaqcin was very kind experienced and funny- he made us laugh so much and gave us such amazing insight. We loved the bio farm and shop, LOVED the food (such good chicken!) and entertainment - the safari was our one let down as it was raining quite heavily but in better weather it would have been so so much fun (our guide still made it enjoyable for us! And the boat ride was so lovely with live music and great views!
This excursion offers contrasting ways to discover the hidden Algarve. In a 4x4, you'll roam through a nature reserve, head into the hills, stumbling upon timeless villages along the way. And you'll also visit country homes and enjoy a relaxing river cruise.
On the 4x4 tour, you'll explore the Algarve's less-visited corners, seeing locals carry out their age-old customs. There's a stop in an organic farm along the way. Another highlight is when the convoy zigzags through the marshland Nature Reserve of Sapal de Castro Marim e Vila Real do San Antonio.
Lunch is special, too. You'll drop into a country estate for a local dishes washed down with wine. It overlooks the River Guadiana and the whitewashed hamlet of Foz de Odeleite. There's time for a swim and to listen to the rhythms of live music, too. And there's also a cruise on the Guadiana to look forward to. Sit back and take in the views of Spain and Portugal – the river is the border between the two.
