"Heartlands" refers to the suburban residential areas of Singapore.
Get out of the city and step into the life of a typical Singaporean district, at Toa Payoh. This is the first district to be built by Housing Development Board, the government arm in charge of public housing in Singapore.
See and explore thanks to your guide a typical self-sufficient town complete with public and private housing, public transport and amenities as well as industrial and commercial areas. You will also get a glimpse of the local life through a visit to a wet market and hawker center.
