En Boa Vista no faltan las buenas vistas, y esta excursión en 4x4 le mostrará lo fotogénica que es la isla. Descubrirá el naufragio del Cabo Santa María, visitará el Fundo das Figueiras, se detendrá a degustar comida local en Rabil y visitará también una granja de cabras y el centro local de biodiversidad. Stephane, uno de nuestros guías locales, afirma: "El naufragio es uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Boa Vista. Cuando el barco encalló en 1968, la tripulación salió ilesa. Se enviaron fuertes remolcadores desde las islas vecinas para intentar mover el barco, pero se atascó rápidamente. Se tardó casi un año en descargar la carga y llevarla a lomos de una mula hasta Sal Rei".

Empezaremos al más puro estilo de Boa Vista, viajando en 4x4 hasta Rabil, donde probaremos algunas delicias locales y echaremos un vistazo al pueblo. A continuación, nos dirigiremos al naufragio del Cabo Santa María, donde el casco oxidado de un carguero español aún permanece en el lugar donde encalló hace más de 50 años. Es un contraste sorprendente con la belleza natural de la playa, y obtendrá unas fotos magníficas.

Después haremos una parada en el colorido pueblo de Bofareira, donde visitaremos una granja de cabras para ver cómo se elabora el queso local. También podrá probarlo. A continuación, se dirigirá a la aldea de Fundo das Figueiras para disfrutar de un almuerzo elaborado con ingredientes locales en un restaurante familiar. Por la tarde, dispondrá de tiempo libre antes de visitar un proyecto de fabricación de jabón de la Asociación de Mujeres del Norte, una organización especializada en la igualdad.

    Super Guide (Becki), klasse Fahrer, viele gute Infos, kurze schöne und Stopps, herausragendes Mittagessen. Es wurden so viele Informationen vermittelt, aber es war überhaupt nicht schwierig, diese aufzunehmen. Super Organisation und "No Stress".

    Man hat den Eindruck die Tour soll so schnell wie möglich durchgezogen werden um baldmöglichst wieder zurück zu sein. Eine laut Beschreibung angekündigte Zeit zur freien Verfügung in Fundu das Figueiras wurde komplett ausgelassen. Von dem Dorf haben wir so gut wie nichts gesehen.

    Ich hatte eine andere Tour geplant und auch bestellt (Boa Vista Nordg/Südtour) und habe leider erst während der Fahrt erfahren, dass es eine andere Tour ist! 6 von 8 Teilnehmern der Tour ging es genauso!

    Zu lange Fahrten zwischen den Stationen. Das Wrack Santa Maria ist nicht mehr interessant, weil kaum noch etwas zu sehen ist.

    Tour war sehr erlebnisreich und auch unterhaltsam, allerdings müßte darauf hingewiesen werden, daß es für Leute mit Rückenproblemen nicht zu empfehlen ist. Außerdem hatten wir Glück das in unserem Jeep nur 6 Personen waren..8 ist meiner Meinung nach zu viel.. Ansonsten alles top..
