What to expect

Experiences for all the family, traditional food, jungle trails, culture and nature – Xcaret has it all. This eco-archaeological park is like nothing else in the Riviera Maya.

Located by the sea near Cancun, Xcaret boasts more than 50 attractions that take you through the heart of the jungle in many ways. Nature lovers will delight in visiting Jaguar Island and the Butterfly Pavilion, or walk through caves, archaeological sites and a Maya village.     Jättefin park med massa upplevelser. Floden var jätte skön och vid snorklingen såg man massor av fiskar. Såg massor av djur. Maten som ingick var jätte god. Showen var magisk. Logistiken vid transfer funkade jätte bra. Mindre bra var faciliteter för dusch och omklädnad. Kunde fått bättre information om hur man utnyttjade parken till fullo.

    Parken är väldigt fin och simturen i ”floden” är kul! Dock kan man som svensk med fördel åka dit på egen hand. Transporten som ingick med TUI gav info mestadels på spanska och guiden var mer intresserad av att sälja saker än att ge behövlig information.

    Allt var klockrent! En fullspäckad park där man tänkt på varenda liten detalj. Vi köpte inte till någon av de "dream activites" som fanns, men det gick ändå att göra massor av roliga saker. Missa inte showen på slutet innan de stänger!

    Parken är stor och vi skulle ha gått igenom kartan innan och planerat dagen bättre. Vi hann inte med allt då vi kom dit vid 10 och bussen hem gick kl 16 (nästa buss gick 21:30). Börja med att gå mot Secret River då den slutar på andra sidan parken. Kolla även upphämtningsplatsen då det var otydligt på vår biljett så vi missade bussen och fick ta en taxi.
