The Oceanarium was opened in 1998, during the last world exhibition of the 20th century entitled “The oceans, a heritage for the future”.The Oceanarium hosts about 8,000 marine animals and plants and, among others, you'll admire penguins, seagulls, sea otters, sharks, rays and other marine organisms.
You'll also have the chance to explore Lisbon at your own pace and learn about the most interesting facts about the city, its history and culture.
