Discover some of Jamaica's picture-perfect waterways with a bamboo raft ride on the Martha Brae River and the chance to watch a wow-factor phenomenon at the Luminous Lagoon. The magic of nature makes the waters glow an electric blue here – so a swim in the neon deep, plus a Jamaican dinner and limbo show make this tour a bucket-list must.
At the Martha Brae rafting centre you'll learn how to build a bamboo raft before climbing aboard, ready to float downstream. Your very own raftsman will sail you downriver, so you can sit back, take in the tropical scenery and enjoy your guide's tales of local folklore.
After rafting, you'll drive through the historic town of Falmouth – birthplace of local Olympic hero, Usain Bolt – and see St. Peter's Anglican Church, one of the oldest Anglican churches in Jamaica. Arriving at the Luminous Lagoon just after sunset, be wowed by the famous glowing waters and take a swim, followed by a welcome drink, Jamaican dinner and limbo show.
