What to expect
Witness the Morning Exercise, offering an insight into the training of riders and their Lipizzans. You will see the training of young gray stallions and fully-trained school stallions in the beautiful setting of the Winter Riding School, accompanied by classical Viennese music.
The Morning Exercise includes relaxation exercises, the refining and perfecting of lessons, and the targeted strengthening of muscles. Every 30 minutes a horse change takes place. During the two hours of public training, you will experience four groups of stallions in different training levels.
In order to protect the horses, the famous high-level jumps which are shown during the performances are not practiced on a daily basis and are only occasionally seen during the Morning Exercise.
